Digital Payments and Cash Flow Automation
With our partnership with Truist, homeowners have the freedom to choose how they pay their assessments, whether by check, online bill pay, eCheck, ACH draft, or with a card. All payments flow directly into the ledger, so that owners get credit for their payments as soon as they are deposited. Email reminders are sent automatically to reduce late payments and notifications are sent to owners to alert them their payment has been received.
For owners that do not want to pay online, or prefer to mail a check, they can make their payments directly to the association and send them to the bank’s lockbox. We also provide customer service for all residents who may need help with understanding their balance, where to send their payments, etc.
Real Time Visibility. Complete Transparency.
With Kindred, we strive to be fully transparent with every dollar, every time. Board members approve invoices through the portal – you will see every invoice and authorize the expenditure for the payment is sent. To ensure you are not late on your bills, we can setup a pre-authorized ACH for things like utilities and insurance. And at Kindred, you will never be charged a fee for check printing or “office supplies” to pay your bills.
Board members will have access to real time financial data through the mobile app and web portal. Each month, you will receive a compiled report with all of your financial statements, bank reconciliation report, and bank statements. We also upload a monthly balance sheet and income statement for the homeowners.
HOA Collections and Delinquencies
We understand that your assessments are the lifeline of your community. However, financial hardships and “real life” can have a negative impact. At Kindred, we will work with your board to develop a collection’s policy that is equitable and reasonable, while still protecting the association’s assets.
If things do not work out, we can work with an attorney that specializes in HOA collections to ensure the association follows all legal guidelines and mandates. The board will have real-time access to your receivables and be able to track them online. Each month, you will also receive an aged receivables report so you can see your trends over time.
